Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman, an American gymnast, was a member of both the Fierce 5 2012 and Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic Gymnastics teams. Aly Raisman took home three gold medals in the 2012 Olympics which took place in London. Additionally, she brought home a bronze medal on the balance beam. In 2012 she was one of the few American athlete to achieve the highest number of medals at the Olympics. She won the gold in the team competition at the 2016 Olympics that was her as well as Gabby Douglas the first Americans to have back-to-back golds. She also won two silver medals in the floor exercise as well as individual all-around. Three years have passed between her last appearance in competitive gymnastics. She also was one of the gold medal winning American teams in the two World Championships. Gymnastics was her first sport of choice at the age of two and her favourite event is floor workouts. Aly is a member of her favorite charity, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization in memory of her grandmother who was diagnosed with cancer and passed away. She plans to pursue the field of fashion, and would like to expand her signature line of leotards as well as socks in the future. Fierce the new novel she's working on, will be released later in the year.
